Tuesday is the 23rd Kargil Vijay Diwas in India, which commemorates the Indian military’s triumph against Pakistan on July 26, 1999, in the Kargil highlands in Jammu and Kashmir. This day serves as a reminder of the commitment, bravery, and heroism of our warriors. On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, Sankalp Senior Secondary School paid a modest tribute to all those brave soldiers who gave their lives to defend the homeland “INDIA” to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of Operation Vijay, the Kargil War.Students recognise the valour displayed by our armed forces on the Kargil Heights during Kargil Vijay Diwas. We acknowledge our eternal debt to those who never came back and praise the tenacity and bravery of those who protected India. The children participated in a special assembly where they shared their patriotic sentiments through poetry, articles, and act.
In general, Kargil Vijay Diwas is a day of national celebration. It is a day to honour martyrs, celebrate their efforts, and redouble the military’s commitment to the cause of the country. to inform the students of the military’s role in maintaining national security and developing the country.
