Admission Process
Sankalp follows a transparent, step-wise admission policy to ensure a smooth and fair process for all applicants.
Obtain and Fill Application Form
Obtain the application form from the school website or office and fill it accurately with correct information. Ensure all details are complete and verified.
Submit Required Documents
Submit the filled form physically at the office along with the following documents:
- ✓Original Transfer Certificate
- ✓Original Migration Certificate (for Class XI only)
- ✓Photocopy of Class X marksheet (with the original to be brought for verification)
- ✓Six passport-size coloured photographs
- ✓Two coloured passport-size photographs of the father and mother (or guardian, if any) separately
- ✓Photocopy of Aadhar Card (of Mother, Father & Student, or Local guardian, if any)
Assessment
If the applicant fulfills all the criteria from Step 2, they must appear for an assessment. This helps us understand the student's readiness and academic level.
Fee Payment and Confirmation
If a seat is offered (based on availability), parents/guardians must deposit the admission fee and the first installment of the school fee at the office within a stipulated time. Failure to do so may result in the seat being allotted to the next candidate.
Assessment
Assessment is an integral part of the academic process, carried out periodically to determine learning outcomes. Assessment at Sankalp is primarily based on various tests but also incorporates empirical data on students' knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values to reflect their strengths and weaknesses. It is a continuous process, facilitated by experienced and trained staff to help students develop their strengths and overcome weaknesses.
Diagnostic Assessment
Conducted at entry points to gauge an aspirant's prior knowledge and school readiness, measuring minimum basic requirements for admission. If deficiencies are found, pre-training is provided to help students cope with the syllabus.
Formative Assessment
Performed throughout the academic year to analyze student learning and implement remedial measures. This includes cyclic tests, unit tests, and periodic tests in all subjects, helping students prepare for summative assessments.
Summative Assessment
Grades students based on their overall knowledge acquired during a session and is conducted in compliance with CBSE guidelines. This comprehensive evaluation helps track overall academic progress.
